On October 27, 1883, six men and six women met together for the purposes of starting a Baptist church in Elsberry. The last Sunday in October, we're celebrating God's goodness and mercy in blessing and sustaining that effort for 140 years. If you have been connected to First Baptist in some way over the years, we'd love for you to join the celebration! And if you aren't connected to any of the churches in Elsberry, please, be our guest! Following the worship service, there will be a carry-in (potluck) meal in the fellowship hall.
